READ THIS FIRST: This is a Ma & Pa (Paula and Tom) operation and we are both in our seventies.  I have muscular dystrophy and spend most of my time in a wheelchair.  We have no employees (when we can’t do something we hire contractors).  We have decided to limit camping and most day use (like swimming and hanging out by the river) to scouts and church groups.  Our phone won’t ring when you call unless your number is in our contacts (I should also mention that I am losing my voice and we are both losing our minds) so you will need to either text or e-mail unless you have talked by phone recently.  If you feel like you have a special case and you would like to camp or swim here, text or e-mail us.  If we aren’t busy we might say yes.  But if you will have someone in your group who will be drinking, please find another place.

Help!

Don’t put any food scraps in this restroom. Take all food trash to your campsite and then to the dumpster (up the hill on your left as you are leaving).  Any leftover food here will be found by the coons and ants.

The owners of this place are old and decrepit. 

Their dumpster provider insists that no recyclable materials be put in the dumpster.

So, recycle all the cardboard, glass and plastic bottles, aluminum cans & trays and clean steel cans in our recycling bin on the side of this bathhouse.  Please put metal canopy frames and chairs in or on the side of the recycling bin; not in the dumpster.
