Welcome to the San Marcos River Retreat. We are a private, alcohol free campground serving Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Trail Life Scouts, and church groups, with a focus on groups learning to canoe and/or kayak. 

We are also a Texas Parks and Wildlife River Access and Conservation Area (RACA) site.  For a day use fee, we allow individuals to launch canoes and/or kayaks or to fish from our banks.  But those users must obey our rules (especially the no alcohol rule) and must only use our campground  during daylight hours.
